Opening Post

Old cars and especially Muscle cars are my passion. I own a 1979 Trans Am Firebird that was my dads first car and I grew up working on several of my grandpas cars that he owns, most being classics such as a 1967 Shelby Gt mustang, or his 1972 Dodge Challenger. Modern cars just cant match up to that that old steel and power that was the American muscle car. The simplicity and workability of the engines make them ideal for ease of working on them and they have a sleekness and class thats not rolling off the assembly lines anymore. Thats why im dedicating my blog to Muscle cars, and cars in general. Enjoy

  1. I love this topic for a blog! Looking forward to learning more about old cars - my favorite by far are the late 70's Novas. I would love to see a posting about one...

  3. I have to disagree with your comments on American Muscle cars being the best. Although I respect them I would much rather own a German car, specifically Audi, (I have an Audi A6). I understand that in their day Muscle Cars were pretty respectable in terms of engines and horsepower, but now the "muscle cars" such as the new camaro, the mustand and the challenger get left in the dust by their german equivalents. Sorry to come out and trash muscle cars but if I had a choice I would have to choose German.

  4. I have to agree that cars these days definetly don't have the same feel as that of older cars, though it isn't always for the worst. There is a certain smootheness that you get in newer cars, just as there is a feeling of driving something powerful with older models. I guess what type of car one thinks is best depends on the person and what they expect from a car.

  5. hahahaha no offense max but yeah European cars are great, expensive, and flashy, but you dont understand fully the concept of the muscle cars im talking about. im talking about from 1965-1981 thats the time period of the american muscle and trust me my 1979 pontiac Trans am has a 455 Pontiac V-8,titanium pistons cam shafts and lifters and im putting out around 700 horsepower thats muscle an Audi A-6 i bet gets to 200. Im talking about the history of some of the sleekest, fastest, loudest cars history has seen and if you see my bird with that eagle and hood breather mann its a passion ill never lose.

  6. I'M A MUSCLE CAR LOVERR! 100% AGREE WITH YOU!
I drive 2010 Black Mustang, and that's my baby! Muscle cars are fast, hot, and BIG! That's what every girl should be driving "WINK!" I'm also a lover of the 2010 Camaro yes, the one in the Transformers movie. I'm planning to put some yellow stripes on my Mustang so in the future if you see a 2010 Black Mustang with some yellow stripes in the student parking lot, that's me!

  7. I don't know much about cars. I am very picky when it comes to the looks of old as well as new cars. There aren't too many perfect cars to me, most cars are not proportional! I am not a fan of too many muscle cars. I am obsessed with the Porsche Cayenne. I drive a Nissan Altima, which I love, but hopefully in the future will get a Cayenne. Your blog seems very interesting and I look forward to reading and learn more about cars.
